The North American Plant Protection Organization (NAPPO) is pleased to invite you to its 48th annual meeting to be held at the Delta Hotel Downtown Ottawa in Ottawa, Canada from October 21-23, 2025.
Join us and learn more about the role of NAPPO in protecting North America's agriculture, forestry and natural plant resources from potentially damaging pests while facilitating trade and enjoy what Ottawa has to offer. As the national capital of Canada, Ottawa has plenty of sites for visitors to enjoy including many museums, art galleries, and restaurants as well as Parliament Hill (the seat of the country's federal government). Visit Ottawa Tourism to find out more about what Canada's capital has to offer.
The 48th NAPPO annual meeting provides a unique opportunity for governments, other plant protection organizations and stakeholders in the NAPPO region (Canada, U.S. and Mexico) to come together to exchange information, provide feedback and share ideas on how to protect the plant resources of North America while facilitating safe trade. This year's symposium will focus on the risks, rewards and realities of using artificial intelligence in plant protection.
The Draft Agenda is available here and it includes information on our invited speakers and items we'll discuss.
The meeting will take place at the Delta Hotel downtown Ottawa, please book your reservation under the NAPPO room block.
We look forward to seeing you in Ottawa for the 48th annual meeting of NAPPO.
